Hi there,
I would like to ask the same question (as Michelle on June 13th @6:09pm).
I have just bought one in late July, & potted it . I absolutely love it, but I’m scared for the winter, as I’m in Scotland & we get below freezing temperatures here sometimes. I have it at the front , which faces south ( I know now to move it next year as that’s too much sun/heat for it), but thought it good for it to get some sunshine/heat/light since it’s Autumn now?
Anyway, I’d like to know how it will cope in its pot over winter….please help.
Thank you,
Fiona.

If I have a potted astilbe, should I bring it indoors in the winter or can I leave it outside covered up? Would it be better in my unheated garage? Any tips would be much appreciated!
